"Will Magic-Flight honor the warranty even if I break the Box through my own stupidity?

Yes we will. We will even warranty units that have been modified for reasons of artistry or improved functionality.

We do make an exception for units which in our opinion were deliberately damaged (ie, for the purpose of making a warranty claim) will be charged at full retail price. "

So i guess if its a good mod like this, then they dont care :]

Actually, Magic Flight Launch Boxes these days come with a small metal ball bearing embedded to the right where the mouth piece goes and a small indent in the glass so it clicks into place.

All this time I was wondering what the rubber band was for, I thought it might have been for the battery or something.

I noticed something different about my box when I got it 2 days ago, and only just noticed now.

You could just use a soldering iron, and just push the metal thing down, melting a dent into the plastic underneath.
