  • Man, that thing is slow! The AEM is cool though.

  • @camry6 That's what happens when you have a 4x4 truck with over sized tires, a small v-8 and are just starting to program the computer (why this vid was taken- to send to my programmer). Now that it's tuned, it runs quite a bit better... still not a strip race car though, obviously.

  • Cool, how does it run now?

  • @damlowet Here is a unlisted video from about 6 months later... I think I wanted another adjustment at this point, but don't have a after video. But this shows some cruise, and some full throttle. I think overall for what it is, it runs alright.... It's just a 4.7L on a 4x4 with oversized tires after all. ;) I'm sure it would really like to be regeared, but all my money is going in my '73 Bronco right now (in my other vids) watch?v=1l_otfg3p-Q

  • @adnedarn Not quite sure how to view that other video, it doesn't seem to be attached. How is your tuner adjusting the fueling?

Goes well for a 4x4! Probably surprise the hell out of some ricers.

  • @damlowet I'll private message it to you. I'm not really sure what changes he makes. I send him videos and explain what I'm experiencing and he makes changes in the program and sends me a new file tune to upload into my SCT programmer which I hook to the truck and reprogram the computer.

  • @adnedarn Yea, i'm just razzin' ya! It's not that slow actually. I'm used to going 0-60 in 5.6 seconds lol.

  • @damlowet Hello, this was an initial SCT tune, it has been adjusted 4 or 5 times since then by sending videos of these runs to my tuner to get the A/F mixture where it should be.

  • If the guage is accurate, you are running too rich for max power by a point. Is that still running an unchipped stock ECU?
