Low Thrust VASIMR Trajectory to the Moon HD
The most important near-future application of VASIMR-powered spacecraft is transportation of cargo. Numerous studies have shown that, despite longer transit times, VASIMR-powered spacecraft will be much more efficient than traditional integrated chemical rockets at moving goods through space. An OTV (space tug) powered by a single VF-200 engine would be capable of transporting about 7 metric tons of cargo from Low Earth Orbit (LEO) to Low Lunar Orbit (LLO) with about a six month long transit time.
@baillou2
In this post there's some info on why we'd never hear about it if someone wanted to blow the whistle.

In post #1 of that thread there's some info on why the Soviets didn't snitch.

@Cosmored How is this crushing proof and yet no one seems to care, and it's not making news.
Just explain one thing (cuz I wanna get you say crazy shit. You won't disappoint) Why with all this proof did the Soviet Union never call the US out on the faking? They would have every reason. It was the cold war, and we were deep into the weapons/space race.

This is a little off-topic but-
The Apollo moon missions were faked in a studio. To see a partial summary of hoax evidence, google "The Naked Scientists". In the "New Theories" section of the forum there's a thread entitled "Did We Land on the Moon?". The summary is on page 15 of the thread. It's the 7th post from the top.
Also, do a YouTube search on "MarsFaker".

Currently NASA is investigating generating electricity using either a Stirling engine converter or a Brayton cycle engine. The current converters produce 40 kW. So 200 kW would require 5 converters and one mega-Watt will need 25 off. (There are bigger Brayton engines designed to work on the Earth.) These converters can be heated by a nuclear power source or by solar energy.
