The Amputee Coalition of America's Paddy Rossbach Youth Camp is a 5-day traditional summer camp experience for children ages 10-17 who have lost arms and/or legs or who were born with limb differences. The camp offers challenging activities that build campers' confidence regardless of skill level.

Well, I'm 62 years old and a new amputee and this is so upbeat and happy. This will help my granddaughter understand and accept my difference and my new "robot legs."

Everyone needs to spend one day at a camp like this so they can realize amputees are not people to look down upon, but rather to be inspired by from the first moment you see them: just by being an amputee, we show that we have the strength to live and keep moving forward one "step" at a time.
