Idiotic, a discussion about a pin. I mean if thats what is going to make a decission on whether which candidate to choose, then we are really failing as people. It is a symbol, but he said he wouldn't wear the pin metaphorically, as in "I am not going to pretend I am a war hero," because he does not have any military background. Instead he says, I am going to prove I am a patriot by my actions today.

Obama cites John Kennedy meeting Nikita Khrushchev as another example of what he wants to emulate. Really? That Vienna summit of a young, inexperienced, untested American president was disastrous, emboldening Khrushchev to push Kennedy on Berlin -- and then nearly fatally in Cuba, leading almost directly to the Cuban missile crisis. Is that the precedent Obama aspires to follow?
Is this the naive person we need to be president?
