@TRAVAM91 It does have to have them if you want to operate the locomotive over a grade crossing at more than 20 MPH, however the GN 400's are removable for photo shoots, to bring her closer to that as built look.... beautiful locomotive it is.

it pisses me off that they have to ruin the engine by putting ditch lights on it... did the original have them? nope... i mean its in a museum now, it doesnt have to have the ditch/cab combo for safety like the bnsf does.... at least the paints been re-done well. great catch!

What kind of horn was that? Great Video!!!
I think the engineer, Ron Erickson, told me it was a Leslie S3-L and it is not the orignal horn, but close.
