This is a quick slide show off the bike going through it's restore and a video of it running at the end. This bike i got off an old friend of my dads. The bike was in pritty good nick for not been started for 25 years, the electrics needed sorting, new headlight, mudguard, battery, oil feed (which was the most pain to find) and just needed a good clean to get the rust off and chrome to get it looking like new. This is it been started for the 2nd time in 25 years after me and my dad fitted the new oil feed pipe and everything else. If you live in Durham or the wear valley you might get a glimps of it and me riding around, because unlike some people with classic bikes i ride mine, it doesn't spend it's life under a cover ^^, also was shown at bikewise 2009.

  • hay my mate wants one of these but i got to ask summat

is there a seperate tank for the oil ?

really nice bike man how much u have to pay ?? safe riding:)

  • Yeah these and all the suzuki 2 strokes have a cci system which means there is a seperate tank (under side panel on the right) which feeds a pump which then passes the oil into the engine. Now money i got this for free off my dads friend and the £300 on doing it up, but if your looking for one in A1 condiction which i haven't seen one yet over £1000, well if a FS1E can get over £3000 well a good one of these most be able to get over a grand ^^

  • Very nice! I myself am restoring a 1975 DT400B, as well as a couple of yammies from the late 60's.

  • Top Video, Thei A100 was my first bike, i had a red 1974 one I got out of the barn yard at my grandfathers house, My bike first belonged to my father, it was his bike issued to him orgigionaly in the Australian Army, Dad aquired it afterwards, He used to take me for rides when i was a young bloke in Victoria, we moved to perth, the bike went to grandpas shed, it remained their untill i was about 13, When i "found it" pop gave it to me, on the spot wanted to restore it but no money Thnx 4 posting
