What a gorgeous tone you have. Great playing as well. What are you playing through for an amp? Care to share your guitar setup as well as amp settings and amp details? I have a gretsch G100CE that I LOVE for jazz. Custom KA handwound floating PAF with a coil tap..thas right.

Mr. Blake, I love what you are doing..im a guitarist from colorado and as i grow older i find myself steering towards what i wnt to call "soundscapes". on the road there, I hear lotsa jazz inspired sounds. i have a dear friend here, Bobby Montoya who is considered one of the greats in jazz guitar, but unfortunatly he has become very ill. I need insight. plz pay no attn to shmucks who no nothing. what you r doing warrants respect and admiration

@j1mbafr0sty Thank you. Dennis, the drummer, and I have been with each other a long time, hence I didn't look at him during the video; I just knew and so did he. My past recordings were either solo instrumental love songs or softer jazz with me dubbing in bass. Then I met Paul, the keyboard player and we hit it off pretty quickly. We haven't played much as a trio but are working on this now. Again, thank you. Richard

Eddie Capp would be proud of ya.

@tonylowballs . Thank you for your interesting and very complimentary comment. I remember Eddie Cap very well. He was a legend in New Jersey and had an uncanny ability to switch from rock to jazz to standards instantaneously; he really understood the guitar. I still have his methods book and periodically go through it. We lost him at too early an age. Thank you, Rich Blake
