Lotus Elise passing Lamborghini at Miller Motorsports

First track day in a Lotus Elise at Miller Motorsports Park. Highlight of my day was passing this Lambo!

@borderlands4 Not difficult to make a lotus way faster than a lamborghini. Drop a k20 in the back, supercharge or turbocharge it... bye bye lambo. ;)

if you want to drive fast in corners, buy a lotus (w/o lsd)

@jcadlols , i agree with the k20, my friend has on in his '07 civic, it was supercharged or turbo, or maybe both. its street legal racecar and can EASILY get to 200 mph. thing has so much power it cant handle it, crazy shit lmao so if i ever get a lotus, thats what ima do(:

They don't have a lot of horsepower but they're so small and light (I believe they're less that 2k lbs.) they take off like a little rocket. For a very exotic looking car it's very affordable. I'm surprised I don't see these on the roads. (Although where I live in Los Angeles, it seems no one has passion about what they drive anymore. You only see millions of Altimas, Civics; etc. I'm one of the few inhabitants of L.A. holding the torch for people who care about the cars they drive. L.A. sucks.

basically the elise has better handling ( so this happens with a good driver)...but in a drag it wouldnt be a race

@carl206rc Top gear is a reality tv show with cars, hell on that show somehow they only managed to get top speeds of under 190mph for a Zonda and Koenigsegg while they got an LP 640 to 207 in the rain on that same 1.5 mile stretch, lol.

@tigertic1 check on youtube topgear murcielago vs evolution and you will open your eyes, murcielago is only look, even the lambo gallardo is faster on track with no long straights

@carl206rc Only on Gran Turismo, people that say they can't handle because they have never been in one and just repeat things they hear. That being said the murcielago platform is more of a straight line roller coaster than a track car but it is a very stable car, with it's second evolution being an even more stable supercar.

that's too much weigh for a supersport car
