On bloody sunday I believe the british soldiers acted correctly based on the information they had. They were told there was ira in the crowd to ambush the police. so when it all kicked off what would anyone do (defend yourselves obviously). I know for a fact at least one of those killed was a member of fianne eirin so much for peaceful protesters.
The british army did a great job in northern ireland I wish they were still here ,but hay I wouldnt want to be in their possition again.
