I've always wondered... when Anna uses her boomerang on 3 enemies, if the damaged indicated was collective damage spread out (like, 21 damage divided by 3 is actually 7 damage done to each, or if it's 21 damage to all 3 so it's 63 in total.)

The screen always displays total damage. If you do 6 damage to one enemy, 7 to another and 8 to a third, it'll show 21 damage.

Let's just say this--This is in no way a winnable battle as far as the storyline. You could defeat them, but that would bring the game to a screeching halt, as you're supposed to be captured to even continue the storyline.
