Nashville, TN Saturday, July 4, 2009

We arrived late to the fireworks display in downtown Nashville, TN Saturday night - BUT just in time for the pouring rain. I wanted to get the finale from inside the car but I wasn't able to get a good angle shot. Always next year, I guess. By the way, the umbrella you see in the video became a casualty from the wind. R.I.P. Umbrella, you served us well.

Wow - it was definitely a wild night as far as weather. Did you see last year's? And aside from the weather - was this year's as great as the display from last year? I know I was left in awe last year from the firework show.

We were stuck in the rain too! I had to use the bathroom, so we stepped into Sbarro's to use the restroom and the weather guy on the TV there said the fireworks were starting early due to an impending downpour! Went down to Hard Rock and ended up SOAKED! The display was great from what I saw through the tree I was standing under! Great time in Nashville though, great place to celebrate Independence Day!

i was there on the bridge, we had 2 move 2 LP parking lot cuz the wind was blowing debris all over the bridge then the rain washed every1 out but i watched til the end
