There are many Techniques involved in Free Diving.

Relaxing is one of them. Taking a good breath, then bend your body like an "L" Shape. Try to throw your legs above your head & the weight & technique will force your down.

  • Either by swallowing, shifting your jaw, or equalizing by pinching your nose & blow until your ear are clear. (Warning: Don't blow too hard).

If you're still having problems going down, you might have to continue to equalize, while going down.

What I do Sometimes is short my dives, b/c I can't clear at all (Cold, tired, etc...). Go to shallower water, there's many ABs there too.

If it's too much, you might need to call it the day & try next time.

    Be safe & good diving!

  • @looks911 if you use ear chugs you may ruin your inner part of your ears

    just learn to equalize

  • @thebestsk8r123 I do not recommend ear chugs... you must learn how to equalize, as DaDiver said

  • @thebestsk8r123 You use (ear chugs) you can get them at a scuba diving store..

  • Hey how do you go down without having all the pressure in your ears? im starting freediving and want to know how to prevent this, please comment or respond back! thanks!
