  • Too cute! Thanks for sharing this post with the rest of us :)

  • It's so wonderful that someone so young can get into dharma. I heard that they have classes for kids learning dharma, i think it's call MKC? She's a very sweet girl. Rinpoche really do change everyone, not mater how old, what race or religion you are.

  • The violin music is so sweet!

  • If you really want to help your kids - don't let them play the recorder!

Most of us in cyberland won't know the Kechara people you all mention, from a bar of soap.

But bringing your kids up in the dharma - with them learning from the examples you show in your speech & actions - is surely the best start a child can have

  • @bimbothroneholder - just curious - why are you envious?

  • If kids at young age have already started makng connections with Dharma or a Guru, then these kids will undoubtedly grow up to be much better people in the future. Don't we need more of that!

  • What a nice kid to wish Rinpoche a Happy Birthday :)

  • Kechara is a great example of a successful and leading Budddhist organisation in this region that made a difference, especially when majoritys focus is making money and having fun. I really bow down to the Kechara people who are willing to give up their pursue of money and fame to work in Dharma- thats the most impressive of all, to me at least.

  • I think so too, as they only had a small Dharma centre back in 2004, and now they have 12 departments, and departments are buying their own BUILDING. Quite an impressive organisation and its non profit too!

  • I hope that myself and my children will have to good fortune like the people mentioned above. How meritorious. And I know for a fact that these people work FULL TIME for the Dharma, regardless of their commitments.
