  • @PinoleValleyNate Dumb fuck!

  • Five Car Richmond Train Arriving And Departing At Civic Center Station inside San Francisco

  • WESTCAT and AC transit don't want it going farther because they make most of their money on routes that connect pinole/Hercules/Crockett and montalvin to farther stations

  • If they kept the Richmond line going, it should stop at Richmond parkway transit center, old town pinole, and end in Hercules. It would be difficult to scrape money together to build tracks across the carquinez strait

  • Sounds sometimes like an R142A train when departing.

  • yay a bart train arrived.... gay ass video

  • Note that when the Colma station was created in 1996, the tracks were already there. The tracks beyond Daly City were very long before finally reaching the yard. The same thing happens at Richmond-- the tracks go so far north that they could open a North Richmond station without building any track at all.

  • They do that more often (with the A car in the back) than two A cars on both ends. The C car seldom is in the back, the A car has got popularity and moved up to the front more often than not.

  • i live right by this

  • That's the sound of regenerative braking. Basically, there is a power plant onboard, and the energy it takes to run the power plant slows down the car, acting as a brake. When the car stops, the energy generated from the power plant is recycled back into the third rail.
