Fort Collins, CO Doctor Cory Carroll speaks at the National Single Payer Day of Action (May 30, 2009) in Denver, CO -- cosponsored by Health Care for All Colorado and ArapaHOPE Community Team.

Dr. Carroll discusses the current problems with our health care financing system in the US and the benefits of switching to a single payer system. Dr. Carroll is a practicing family physician in Fort Collins, CO and has witnessed first-hand the terrible impact of private health insurance on lives in the community around him.

He discusses the call for arrest of protesting physicians and nurses by Senator Max Baucus, the near passage of HB-09-1273 in the Colorado House, and personal anecdotes that demonstrate the complete failure of our for-profit system of financing health insurance.
