Here are a couple of tunes from Imre Jankovics (1885 - 1971) played in our kitchen. The set is in G, this the key Imre Jankovics used to play his music. The 3-reed chanter, bag, stocks and drones have been made by Andor Vegh, bellows by Pal Gadanyi. The tunes are Hozz bort kocsmarosne, Haj Dunarol fuj a szel, Erre gyere rozsam.
This and the other sibling video shows the tonal differences of a 3-reed set in G and A. Singing in G is easier.

  • @rafikibubu You have to learn the tune so deep that you can play without focusing onto it! Than you can sing in one time!!!

  • These are excellent Miki... I can't believe you can manage to sing and play pipes at the same time! Remarkable! I can gasp out a couple of words from time to time but that's it! Bravo!

  • i've heard a recording of jankovics playing this song on a documental album of hungarian pipers. sounded like the type of set as these pipes in G.
