rotating gears animation

I saw http://revis.co.uk/site/?q=node/105 and copied it, following his instructions for creating the gears, but in synfig instead of inkscape.

There are at least 3 shreds... See the wiki (dot) synfig (dot) com ; as you say, it's a bit lacking, but it's better than nothing. And if you discover something that's missing, please add it.
