  • What no visit to Slab City?

  • @peergynt91 We drove through it but it wasn't worth stopping and filming.

  • Were you safe inside that meth addicts bible refuge? It looks like it could disintegrate during the next earthquake.

  • Yeah that place might crumble in the next earthquake. That guy better pray more.

  • Just like paradise.

  • Isn't there more purpose to life than creating an upscale playground out of a body of water such as the Salton Sea? As the sun sets, the views across the water on the east side are spectacular, not to be missed. The pro's come and take their pictures. Pelicans soaring past. Silence.

  • @sean57 You need to do like we did, and make friends with some locals. We always find a place to stay and so go several times a year. Than again, its only 150 miles from L. A.

  • did you visit the oasis hot springs? its out in the desert and is litteralyy a desert oasis

  • @cffnmkr13 I like the whole area for it's weird energy. Ive seen the locals catch catfish from the canal at the Slabs and old black men with buckets of Talapia, I guess the Koreans are being enteprenurial.

I try and visit the place at least once a year

  • @varaques then we all should move outta California! the whole state runs along a 2 fault lines.

  • @sean57 There are Koreans that come fish here. They resell their catch to Sea Food Restaurants that than resell it as an expensive, exotic fish dinner. No KIdding.

  • @danorrsc Slab City? More like Drab City.

  • THEY SHOULD NOT EVEN LET PEOPLE LIVE THERE DUE TO THE FACT IT SITS ON 2 MAJOR EARTHQUAKE FAULTS
