My sweet Hounds & their Friends

Black and Tan Coonhounds. These are some of our hounds & their friends - we love them all. They are dogs with jobs (Certified ManTrailing Hounds). The bg music is the tune "Boy from the Country" - as penned by Michael Martin Murphy and in the style of John Denver; vocals by Anita and guitar by Bob. An unedited home-recording - done a few years ago - it is quite a long tune and we cut it in one go so there are some rough spots and background noise. We owe it to Pete Huttlinger that Bob learned to play it like this - thanks Pete!!

I have a black and tan. I love coonhounds, we don't use her for hunting, although I've thought of taking up hunting just for her. She seems perfectly happy, trolling through the trails, chasing squirrels and chipmunks. This is the way to love a dog. We love our hannah. Fantastic pictures. Your have inspired me to take even more pictures of her, than I already have.
