  • Too bad the SDA church takes Matthew 19:4-6 out of context. In both passages Jesus was talking about divorce, not homosexuality. Oops.

  • This is absolute garbage thinly veiled in formality. Honestly, if this is what is taught at your university you should find another school. I only hope there is no biology department.

It is amazing that people can talk so long without ever grounding a statement in reality.

  • Religion. I hate it!! It clearly overlooks the facts of history and Scripture. The adventists position statement is recognized as an "interpretation" of scripture. The funny thing is is that the position against homosexuality is the only one of the two positions that relies on an interpretation, an implicit and man made teaching. Whereas the position that adequately challenges that church's stance relies only on the facts as retained in both Scripture and History. Religion=men=lies!

  • When I wrote "both passages," I was referring to both Matthew 19:4-6 and Mark 10:6-9, but I removed the former due to the fact that the SDA website only references the passage from Matthew.
