  • I liked the allegory. It makes you really contemplate the future of our intellect. The medical achievements have pherhaps stopped our bodily evolution, but culture and ideas still change rapidly and I believe one day we will even live without wars!

  • Most people seem to think this is a crazy idea, but I think it's just the naturally evolution of an intelligent species. Thanks for the comment. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one out there who feels this way.

  • Very interesting thoughts. Cozmikzen pimped your channel, so I came to check it out. Subbed.

  • By the way, have you read Plato's "Allegory of the Cave"? I found the concept of your allegory to be quite similar to his.

  • I thought your video was a very effective exposition of your deeply-held beliefs as an atheist. It well illustrated the fact that many atheists are great thinkers, that we have a wide range of beliefs, and thus that we are all human. I thought your allegory was quite creative and it displayed your ability to see the bigger picture and make predictions about collective human intellect based on evidence and logic. I applaud your positive voice for atheism/freethought and share in your optimism.

  • With the exception of a few books, even most of the science books I read today say a lot of the same things that have been passed down throughout history such as theories of gravity and relativity and double slit experiments and just a lot of the same knowledge.

  • I think it's very true that people take the scientific discoveries for granted today. I think in a way it can also cause people to stop searching for answers to life and the universe because so much knowledge of the past just keeps being passed down through the years.
