  • did you know that tatting was called "poor man's lace"? cos anyone could grab some thread and decorate their clothes beautifully...

great video! don't let tatting art die! keep on tatting, people! let's spread it!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I am a needle tatter, but do have a shuttle and, despite folk telling me "Wow, you're something doing it the hard way", I felt like an IDIOT w/ a shuttle in my hand. This is the first and BEST demo I've seen as yet. Thanks!

  • @BeyondBracelets Hm, upon closer investigation it looks like she does a forward four stitch then repeats from the opposite side. This is pretty fascinating... I think I know what my new project to learn will be. ^_^

  • @10jo25love They look exactly like forward friendship bracelet '4' knots to me. I stumbled upon this because I make friendship bracelets... this looks lovely and it really seems like it utilizes the skills I already have. =D

  • Help me please. I am having a hard time leaning the stitches, you go fast and smooth but I cant get it, where can I find a slow motion tutorial that can help me?

  • Can you do it with an antique style tatting shuttle.

  • o hve a doubt how do we start it ?? :(

  • I do have a shuttle and have books but never made too much tatting though I love it! One of these days I'll take out my shuttle. Your video has encouraged me.
