UK Border Control deports illegal Pakistani Immigrant

This Pakistani's luck ran out as he was stopped by Border Control on a return flight to Britain from Pakistan. He had been running a business here illegally on a visitors visa and had overstayed and then had the nerve to return and try to resume his activities.

After being caught out lying about the length of time he had been in the UK, he came up with some ridiculous story about being a fruit and vegetable seller in Pakistan and wanting to expand his business into the UK. Despite having no customers and no orders. A search of his bag uncovered documents relating to a company he had been operating in the UK.

He assumed by sticking to a simple story which couldn't be verified he would be ok and automatically allowed entry. How wrong he was! Rather than just put his hands up and take the next available flight back to Pakistan, he decided to waste tax payers money and spend 5 days in detention so he could appeal the decision. He later changed his mind and was deported back to Pakistan.

Why even bother wasting time and money allowing deceitful individuals like this who abuse the system the right to appeal? Instant deportation!

There´s something very funny in the discourse of my fellow 1st worlders... I do own double citzenship, French and Brazilian... so I´m pratically free to go and live and stay anywhere, but when people from the so called 3rd world try to do that, we stop them with pride... we say they take our jobs, our opportunities, our social benefits, so tell me well when we travel abroad and stablish there, aren´t we doing the same? But we can because we were lucky to born in a "rich" country?

@groovegirl79 There's a huge difference between British and other people from developed countries traveling abroad to start a new life, to third world benefit scroungers with no education or skills, coming to settle in Britain. For a start, people from Britain are more likely to be well educated, skilled and have financial resources to support themselves. You can also say the amount of third-world immigrants is excessive and disproportionate to British people emigrating.

@groovegirl79 The other reason why we need clear borders is because some countries (notably the UK) are always going to be popular choices for half the worlds riff-raff who come here as their first choice. Being a small country in terms of land mass and housing, the UK simply cannot keep taking in more and more people, it's not fair on those already living here and it reduces the quality of life for everyone and raises the burden on those working to pay for those who do not.

@misterneckbreaker88 It does matter. The level of freedom you're talking about sounds great on paper but it's lousy in practice. Look what happened when the UK opened its borders with the EU and removed any control on immigration from EU. We got swamped with over 1 million poles in less than 2 years. This kind of immigration movement is not only unsustainable it can have a devastating effect on local communities, local culture, jobs, housing. We have boundaries and borders for a reason.
