Dangerous ice storm left Baldy trees covered in ice and left us with a tough accent through the devils backbone.

  • @oxidefgd4 Yeah this is the Mt. baldy in southern California. It's a trail that is usually hiked in the summer called the devils backbone.

  • I climbed Baldy 8 times in the winter. Very dangerous climb if you're not careful. 4 people were killed in one week years ago.

  • awesome day, thanks for sharing, Ive only done this trail during summer. Devils Backbone looks so much better with all that snow. Next snow season Im going

  • wow, pretty intense terrain! what were the avy conditions like on that day? with all the wind loading and rising temps i could imagine they were pretty high, as there are usually pretty dangerous avalanche conditions on mt. baldy.
