No tall athletes that don't want their knees to get destroyed go to the League. It should not be baffling to anyone that ALL aspects of athleticism are used in football. Lateral quickness, Footwork, Core strength, Vertical, ability to cover a lot of space in seconds. Yes Basketball players are good athletes but not overall athletes. How much of an impact has the NFL had on pro boxing. Nuff said
