the chilling news from houston...''we have no downlink''. right away, when ground control looses complete contact with the shuttle at such a low altitude, you have what one of the reporters observed...''obviously a major malfunction''.
what is wrong with most people? the challenger exploded. 7 families lost their dear family member....have respect...since life is short and anyone could have been in that...but it wasnt...it was a entire crew that lost their lives....seven peoples lives cut short
This is one of my earliest and saddest memories. Anyone who finds this funny should have his or her head examined. The shuttle exploded and seven human beings in the crew cabin fell to their deaths in the ocean at 200 mph! Some with their parents in attendance and classrooms full of children watching on TV across the nation, expecting to see the first teacher launched into space, only to be taught the harsh realities of death and failure! There's NOTHING funny about that!
Right a 1:40, when the SRB flies through that raining debris and the camera zooms out, that angle just sends chills down my spine every time I see it. R.I.P

But they can't put a teacher in space?!
