  • So, what's the problem with my video response not being posted here? Are you afraid of the truth or are you afraid of government censorship?

  • Actually, my wife and I just had a baby, and I've been sort of busy... But thanks, you helped make my decision about your vid.

  • I have tried for the past few days to download "Audiobook Part 1" for UPB. The link appears to be broken:

    freedomainradio. com/free

  • Sorry, I ran out of bandwidth without realizing it, you can try again now...

  • I always admire efficiency and directness. :o) Unfortunately the link still does not work. It may take a while for link to be reestablished? If I do not hear back, I'll try it again in a couple days.

  • I have tried each link twice, and they work fine for me, perhaps you can scroll down on the page and use the 'Box' widget to download them...

  • Religion. . . ahh. . . the one thing that makes otherwise rational people completely discard reality in favor of pie in the sky. . .

Most delusional people get put on meds to help, or end up in an institution - unless your delusion is god. . . then suddenly the rules are different. . .

What a bunch of brainless freaks

  • Ah, so because I asked for evidence to your claim, I'm a cultist, I see. Well, if cultist means being grounded in reality then I wear the label with pride.

  • Why does the mad man laugh?..... He realizes that Sanity is the illusion.

  • "...accidental geography." So true. That's the way I've viewed "patriotism," but couldn't quite find such a fitting phrase to describe it. That pretty much covers religion too, in terms of where people are born/raised, as described in Jason Long's book, Biblical Nonsense.

  • Superb video.

But you forgot to include science and academia as also being cults (beyond state schools). Both labs and universities restrict access to alternative info and ideas, they reward conformity and punish originality or questioning hierarchal authority; they grant identity and status, and they practice mind control techniques such as repetition and spectacle sports.

    Religion is the Devil

    And science is his whore

    Money is his life blood

And he gets off by making war

  • I don't agree based on semantics. "Culture" is a collection of memes, rituals, mores, and interpersonal behaviors that emerges from the relationships between you and others.

The state is the 'culture' of relationships that are based on violence, but culture also produces art, music, technology, and many other ideas, including philosophical ones.

Every relationship we form and every interaction we make both takes from and contributes to one or more cultures.

  • Society with all its attributes (organized armed forces, ideological systems - both secular and religious...) developed in a natural Darwinian process. The author criticizes some of the aspects of society as not fitting his moral principles is oblivious to the fact that he himself had been indoctrinated with those principles by the very same society. Conformism and non-conformism are merely tools of society that keep it in balance like osteoblasts and osteoclasts in the bone.

  • Thanks again Stephan

  • in that, the scope of the argument shouldn't necessarily throw out the original hypothesis of libertarianism to secure principles of anarchy but try to focus where it failed since voluntaryst anarchy, like all philosophies and their application, have flaws. the approach is really poly-dogma or learning from several scientific models to determine a better application of the models.

  • culture is cult. you seem to take a natural law, or moral repudiation of statism, and utilitarian, or scientific basis, to justify formation of a new hypothesis. you're using dogma to form an anti-dogma of voluntaryist anarchism. this is somewhat of a paradox, but really an attempt to take disciplined approach to bring in anarchist philosophy into re-examining the failed american experiment.

  • "accidentaL geography"

  • Never tell your cult you love them, its too scary for them.Leave them guessing and reward them when they guess right with a question or something. A smoothly running cult is the best way for gods or demons to be themselves with others.Gods and demons being very lazy, have learned how to keep happy flocks busy making them happy<this pleases gods and demons.Rememeber make something up and convince others to convince each other then keep them busy so gods and demons and people are all happy together.
