@SIRATJI "Khus Khus" means Poppy Seeds, Cous-cous is a prepared cereal from northern africa. The seeds of the poppy plant are ground and cooked down in this dish to make a curry.
I always stir some of the hot sauce into the yogurt before adding it--this helps prevent curdeling(sp)...Also, at the end of cooking taste your sauce and make sure to add salt if needed--this simple step can make a world of difference.
Thanks for the tips! It looks so much easier here than it actually is though! I tried this recipe yesterday and it totally flopped! I got the koftas right, but the gravy was a miss... the yoghurt curded and the poppyseed-coconut mix didn't taste like anything! I guess I'll never be a good cook. :(
LOL @ 7:12 "1/2 teaspoon of chili powder" he adds one spoon and then dumps the whole amount in the food. HOT HOT HOT!!!

must be very sour with the cranberry...I have neer been able to cook well with cous-cous....it just stays very raw...
