John "Toast" Oast of Fishyaker.com and the Ocean Kayak Fishing Team shows how easy and inexpensive it can be to make your own light for kayak fishing at night. All that is needed for this application is a 36" piece of 1/2" pvc, a small waterproof LED (These came from Target for less that $5 for a pack of four), Marine or Plumber's Goop, and a way to mount the pole to your kayak. I used velcro to make a cockpit light for my Hobie pro angler These lights are sealed. cant change the batteries. but you get 4 for 7.39 at Target. works great

You could use a bit of velcro to fasten it to the pole Just put a plug on the top and stick one part on the back of the light and the opposite on the pole.That velcro is cheap and The dollar tree sells the sticky stuff..I bet that would solve the changing of the dead batteries.

how do you change the battery after the lights glued on..

Unfortunately you can't change the batteries on these lights, but the pack has several in them. If one dies I just pop it off the pole and glue the next one on.
