It looks like they altered it from the design it had in 2005 or 2006. Back then you could easily reach your hand inside when the bar came down, grab the drink & hold it before it went in to the slot and after a couple seconds the bar would struggle to move and then give you back your 50 cents or w/e amount you paid..Then you let go & it put the drink in to the slot and went back to normal. Only had them in our high school for like a year, that was probably the reason why.
