This is the second of the two Colorado locations for the Aloft Hotel in which I have filmed. The first one was in Broomfield. This location is in Aurora, just minutes from the Denver International Airport. Since many videos on You Tube feature the elevators in this hotel, I thought I would share some of the Aloft Hotel locations in my parts.

In this video I feature the elevators which have gel floor tiles that change in appearance as you step on them. The Broomfield location's elevators had them but the tiles were damaged and had been covered over. In addition to the elevators, I take a mini-tour of the hotel. Unfortunately the Pool cannot be seen as it was locked.

Thanks to GeorgeF551 for supplying the brand for the elevators, which are Otis with Series 5 fixtures. The decorative padding that lined the walls of many elevators on You Tube and the ones in Broomfield are absent at this location and the walls have a pseudo wood finish opposed to plain stainless steel.

  • fun gel tiles. where does, say, 5r go? aloft looks nice. do they have a location in Massachusetts? very fast MPE to 4. very interesting first floor. it looks like a large living room.

  • @Balarick The "R" that is next to the floor number means "Rear Door". I will look into if they have one in Massachusetts (damn, I copied the spelling from you and still got it wrong so I cut n pasted it and it was right M-a-s-s-a-c-h-u-s-e-t-t-s).

  • @NEXPAR And there is one in Lexington, MA.

  • Otis Series-5 fixtures.

    Nice hotel.

  • @georgef551 So are the elevators Otis or just the fixtures? At all the Aloft hotels on YouTube and the one in Broomfield, the elevators are Kone.

  • These are Otis.

The bluish-green flourescent floor counter in the hall lanters are Otis. Nobody else has that kind.

    (Montgomery's are dot-matrix).
