What should you know is Indonesia is a country comprised of many islands and is known in the world because it is very rich in culture. Each island has a distinct cultural and linguistic differences. And Rasa Sayange is a folk song from one island in Indonesia, Maluku. The lyrics of this song is clearly a lyric from Maluku languages.

Yes indeed, it is a beautiful piece. We the Indonesian people feel honored if any other countries admire the culture of our country. You sing so-so, but please do not take the culture of our country and demanded ownership. It's theft! It's a high crime rate!
