When faced with a survival situation one might have to forage for food in these situations it is best to stick with what you know, if you come across the easily identifiable shell of the walnut tree it will provide you with a great deal of protein. • I have a walnut tree :)

  • Not sure if you know this, but the Black Walnut, in particular it's hull, has been used by Native Americans as a poison to aid in catching fish. Polk berries were also used for this purpose. The juice from the hulls (which is actually toxic) has also been used as a dye--both green and black. Other nuts related to the Walnut have similar properties.

  • @maureendlee Wear long pants walking through those innocent lush corridors of green, lol.

  • You are a natural on screen.

I am looking forward to your segment on stinging nettle remedies. I have been stung a few times myself recently.
