Well.. he doesn't let me use his Mac often, haha. but yeah.. I still have to ask him if I'd be able to try it on his mac... otherwise, I have no clue about my laptop. B/C well I've tried so many times, and at one point apparently Goblet of Fire had been ripped onto my laptop but I could never find a way to it :( lol.

Well, there's a program my cousin downloaded from the web onto my laptop (it was something like "#1 DVD Ripper or something), and since my laptop has a DVD-drive, I just use that. I know there's other programs out there available for download to rip the DVDs, but that's just been the one I've used.
Of course, I also have to reformat them, since in order to get the files, it rips in a format that Vegas won't work well with.
I've never tried working with a Mac, so can't help there.

How were you able to rip the DVDs onto your computer? I've tried before, and so has my boyfriend and it just hasn't worked... unless it'll work on his Mac... uhmmm... then I could bug him to let me use it to make a video... *snickers*..

With mine, I've ripped the DVDs to the computer myself, but there's also sites like "Potter Country USA" or "Regretful Sorrows" that has the clips for download.
