when i start and go and click anything it freezes and i installed everything right can you help

never mind right after posting that i went and deleted the meta-inf folder and still got a black screen. no idea what the problem is because anytime i install a mod other than tmi i get blacksecreen or the mod just doesnt work, but i can still play my game. any ideas? thanx anyways for the time you put into that tutorial.
