When Yeshi loses his only horse, everyone agrees he's had back luck. Everyone that is. except Yeshi's father who responds to all events by chanting the Mani chant. As the reversals of fortune unfold, Yeshi and the villagers come to understand the wisdom of Yeshi's father and the universal truths he embodies.
