Joe the Plumber is now a major figure in the US presidential race.

John McCain, the Republican candidate, is trailing in most polls, so in an effort to attack Obama's tax plans, he told the story of Joe, an apparently regular voter whose income will suffer under an Obama presidency.

Joe the plumber (who isn't really a serious plumber) has heard the explanation. Yet he gives fake answers like Obama can talk well but we need action. Well he could say that of mccain as well. You must accept certain truths:The insurance & auto industries weren't "taken over" as the right loves to crow, but came,cap-in-hand,to the government begging it to "help them".The other thing to keep in mind is, that while yeah-there was a lot of F'n cash getting shoveled around, it stayed right here in the U.S. and we know it was being spent,unlike the 80 billion-a-month off budget war for 6 years.Because the government "owns" these industries they have to watch their P's & Q's now.
