Özel birliklerimiz baskın yapmak üzere toplaşan PKK'lıları tespit ediyor ve saldırıya geçiyorlar. Grup dağılıyor ve kaçıyor ancak 23 PKK'lı ve 17 askerimiz hayatını kaybediyor. Bu bir kahramanlık hikayesi olarak da anlatılabilirdi ama Aktütün'de pusuya düştükleri söylendi, oysa doğru değil. Bunun dışında, bir çatışma ortamında maalesef pusuya düşürülme ihtimali hep vardır. Bunların sayısını azaltmak ve hatalardan ders çıkartmak önemli.
