  • Do you have match 3 where he bowls against Sullins?

  • Yes. I will post that in a bit. I'm having computer issues and as soon as they're resolved, I'll begin adding videos to my youtube page. Thanks for writing.

  • Adolfson looks like a madman! I don't think I'd wanna go near him...lol!!!

  • How about a tv match between Adolfson and PDW or Ernie Schlegel??!!!

  • aww no part 1

  • Actually everything was thrown into one nine and a half minute compartment. As you see, they cut out a few things. Since Eric had the match clinched after his 9th frame, there was no incentive for ABC to air anything else.

  • @TUBEORATER No one cares..... ......... .....

  • Its Ned Flanders in hulk mode!

  • Eric Adolphson and Ted Glattke were Cal Berkeley bowlers, so it's great that Ted was right there behind the TV pair to encourage Adolphson. UC Berkeley's lanes were in a basement bowling center underneath historic Sproul Plaza, home of the riots of the Free Speech Movement. Neither shared the politics of that era. At the time, I thought of Adolphson as a wiseguy, mostly, but to earn a title puts this feat into a whole different light. Only a tiny sliver of bowlers ever win a national title!

  • I was behind the scene sitting on #33

I don't remember which year it was but I put a Mr. Bill face on a pin and it showed on TV.

    Former head mech. at Skyway.

My machines ran perfect for them!

SO much work involved to pull this off.

  • Yep, the casino was a card room in the back and the nursery, pro shop, and league office were in front facing Video Vault. They say that before the lanes were over on the other side, there were pool tables in that space, the place started out as a 24 lane center

  • Yeah. The last time I was there, this side had the enlarged casino with restaurant, some kind of chinese food stand, the H66 mini bowling, and i think the kids' games and the 9 holes.

If I remember, back then the casino was in the back and/or upstairs, all lanes with a small arcade, and the hallway of lockers in the front facing Video Vault.

  • Same here, they've just haven't been able to find a profitable use for the space on the other side. 18 hole mini-golf, then 9 holes of mini-golf and mini-bowling, now conference space, an enlarged casino and the mini-bowling inhabit the space.

  • 1992... I was in my Bantam League at Skyway! Man how times have changed. I wish they kept both sides for lanes...

  • Is it just me, or does Adolphson look like the sort of fellow who'd own a white, unmarked van and a strange amount of candy?

    Anyway, thanks for the videos.

  • It's all in the mustache. lol
