Hi guys and gals, in this step by step video I use an additive for quick setting applications involving plaster patching and plaster repairs. It's purchased at Westside building materials in Oakland. Luminite is calcium aluminate cement, which mean it accelerates the curing time of plaster.
The contractor for this project did the complete kitchen remodel. His name is Lee Tolledsrud, He is an excellent remodeling contractor. You may reach him at (510) 325-5262 Lee is great to work with.
Thanks for watching and we will see you on the next one!

@kimkrisrich Hi Kim, Portland cement plaster is stucco!
Traditional stucco consists of Portland cement-based materials and sand, mixed with water to form workable stucco.
Stucco is a water-shedding, hard, impact-resistant, fire-resistant, and color-retentive, exterior finish material.
Whomever you hire should know how, why and what material must be used for your exterior.
Have a groovy day!

Thanks again Kirk, really appreciate the videos. Even working on a crew as a hod carrier, I've learned more of the important techniques from you.
