Andrew McCutchen swipes second base during a November 15 Arizona Fall League game between the Phoenix Desert Dogs and the Suprise Rafters. The center fielder was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the first round (11th overall pick) of the 2005 First-Year Player Draft out of Fort Meade High School in Florida. McCutchen hit .258/.327/.383 with 10 home runs, 48 RBI and 17 stolen bases for Double-A Altoona of the Eastern League in 2007. He was later promoted to Triple-A Indianapolis of the International League where he batted .313 in 67 at-bats and swiped four bags.
