Legendary New Orleans singer backed by the Florida boys! Although he was in Blood, Sweat & Tears for a time, Luther is best known for leading Trick Bag, house band at the Old Absinthe House in the French Quarter from 1978-1988, featuring the late Charlie Brent (arranger for Wayne Cochran & The CC Riders) and keyboardist Bruce Elsensha (who's on this gig too!). Shack Daddys augmented their line-up for this show at Mario's, Fort Lauderdale, FL in February, 1999 with a horn section featuring Jeff Watkins (Groove Thangs, James Brown, Joss Stone) and Teddy Mullet (Miami Sound Machine)! Jumping blues medley!
