Dele Olojede, Africa's first Pulitzer Prize-winner and former Foreign Editor of Newsday, left New York to start a new generation of newspapers in Lagos, Nigeria, called NEXT. Operating a 24-hour newsroom on diesel generators, Dele and his team of journalists are bringing honest, unbiased investigative reporting to a continent, country and city whose gigantic potential is stymied by corruption, the wealth gap, and an acceptance of the status quo.
