A customer suggested that we do a video on wrap bracelets. Once I started learning how to do them, I got hooked. It's a very versatile and trendy stitch that you can do with practically any bead and any color of leather. Have fun and don't get tangled in your thread!

Has anyone tried this with fireline or wildfire?? If so, how did it turn out?? What about hemp cording instead of the leather?? (Have found both... )

And to everyone who keeps making the comments about the nails, who cares? She does an amazing job with those nails. Some people can't bead with short ones. Don't judge?? :)

I myself have not tried this bracelet, but need to...I love them, therefore I have not used the fireline but would think it would work. We also just started carrying the waxed cord (check out the bottom of this video's descirption for the link) which I think would work too, instead of the leather! Thanks for defending my nails! :) Karla

I do this with fireline and it worked great, just be careful of tangling! 10 ft of thread is a LOT.

I love this bracelet. My daughter and I have started making jewelry and I really enjoy it. She found some magnetic beads they are supposed to be healing and she wanted to make a bracelet for her husband. Most of the bracelets we have seen don't look like they are designed for a man. This looks like it would be perfect for him except I think a matching leather button would look better for him than a knot. I make terrible knots. Thanks again for the idea.

What's that awful knot in the end? Why not use diamond knot?

I have hemp here and some fire line.. it ended up a bit uneven as the hemp isn't as solid as the leather.. but i'll be shopping i think. these are pretty relaxing to do. I have nails that link. I toy with the idea of acrylic or gel just to keep them there. It's not that hard to bead with once you get to that length if you've been doing it all along. I really enjoy the tutorials. I need to see. And some people do it so fast i still need drawings.
