Under God was put in by the Knights of Columbus with a hard fought battle to add just two words . These words made a great change in the pledge that still to this day have to be defended. I am proud to be a Knight.

@stlfd2465 "Under God" was added after Mr. Skelton had left school. He tells you so if you would've listened.

he tells you at the beginning, this is the pledge he learned in school, many years earlier. at the end he notes, since he learned the pledge, the U.S. added two states (Alaska and Hawaii) and the words "under God".

No he didn't it was not originally in the pledge of allegiance, it was added later. Look for other versions on youtube and it is explained
