The Fantastic Legend of Tohno (Touhou Songs #40)

My friend showed me this song a while ago, probably before I even knew what Touhou was. This arrange is from an album of all piano songs, many of which are worth a listen to. From Perfect Cherry Blossom, you can hear both the stage 2 theme (The Fantastic Legend of Tohno) and Chen's theme as the stage 2 boss (Diao Ye Zong- Whithered Leaf).

I probably said this on my last solo piano upload (which was a long time ago, I believe) but piano music is just perfect for when you need to calm down and relax. I use this album when I'm stressed out or sometimes when I'm studying for an exam and I need something non-intrusive to listen to.

And there's one neat thing about this arrange that most people might not realize. At the end of the song, about 5:35, you can hear something that doesn't come from Touhou at all. Rather, from what I can recognize, those are parts from the opening and closing songs of the anime Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. Why do I recognize that? Well, its sequel, Nanoha A's, is one of my favorite animesequel , and I watched the original series before that. A's especially is a pretty fun show, and fairly short at about 13 episodes, so let this video description double as a recommendation to watch it.

And all this Nanoha talk reminds me of a video I may or may not upload...

Wow, this song really fits a credits theme or something. I always thought the original was kinda empty... This one is still kinda empty, but it's more of a mellow empty, an emptiness that's not actually empty, but filled with emptiness...

Okay, that didn't make ANY sense at all. I suck at evaluating music.

Hmm, I don't recognize the Nanoha part. I guess that's since the only Nanoha song I remember is Eternal Blaze.

@GoldenArcher96 Lol, I understood what you meant by empty. It's kinda one of those songs you play when you want to clear your mind, at least for me, so it makes sense that it's kinda empty. As for the Nanoha part, the two parts are only a few seconds long each, and they're from the first season, not A's.

Still not sure about the Nanoha vid, lol.
