"still in fine voice" ? And why not ? A BASS can sing till the Eternal calls him. I am 73, and - may I say - "still in fine voice". Glad to have known Jerry and to have worked with him in Chautauqua, N.Y. (1972) in the "Man of La Mancha". Great actor, fantastic voice and a loving Christian personality. Bless his memory !
