@Athaleth Wow, there's no need to be pissed. I never realised those facts either before I had some talks with friends who learn German. It's just that you'r comment to the American sounded rather rude.

@xfranczeskax step back, I need neither you nor the great wikipedia to teach me how to speak my own language. it's true that a and e sounds are often different, I don't know why I didn't think of that fact last year when I wrote the first comment.

@Athaleth Then you're speaking different German from me. ;) The sound is abslutely different. That's why phonetically you write /axt/ for acht and /ɪç/ for ich. There's a thousan more examples, to be correct. Not even the "a" sound does sound the same in all words with a. See the wikipedia articel "Aussprache der deutschen Sprache :D

Shinya is a wonderfully talented drummer, and I always get this distinct feeling that he is much more emotionally complex than he lets on [not that he lets on much; the guy doesn't open his mouth!] and sometimes his drums are so powerfully emotional it drives me to tears; he should really be more confident of his skill...
Although I think its adorable that he's so shy and modest when he could show off like crazy about EXACTLY how good he is at his job...
