  • Religion and greed are the two things that cause the most strife in the human world. But when you examine the primate world, it's not all that different from the human world. There's an alpha male, and a hirearchy of power in every monkey species and their communities. The monkeys have turf wars, and fight over the same type of things humans do. The sadness, is that a small number of humans who are vested with power, have the ability to destroy all life on this planet.

  • Yeah i get the natural order of things but the cool thing about the battle of krueger was that you never see footage of lion prey fighting back. The hunt is almost always a one way street when viewed on tv. Just cool to see that the water buffalo are self aware enough to want that calf back from the lions instead of just going back to grazing. Score for water buffalo!

  • @TheBestB123

The buffalo left the lions alone because they didn't want to risk unnecessary injury, getting in a fight with a lion can result in lethal injuries, so if you can avoid a physical conflict you do. It's not a moral judgement on their part, it's basic survival.

  • Well observed and well said. Our biggest issue here is the Rhino poaching...sigh

  • To finish off my previous message, DNA programming occurs over milenia. The crocs that attacked hippos all the time didn't survive in big numbers and their DNA was not passed on. On the other hand, the crocs that respected hippos survived and passed it on. A full research of DNA programming hasn't been done because nobody has survived that long!

  • There's another lesson from 'Battle at Kruger'. It's to do with DNA programming. Buffaloes survive in numbers against predators. Normally they run away when predators are near. The extraordinary thing about BaK is that we saw how the buffuloes 'deprogrammed' themselves in order to fight back. That's what you can learn from humans too. We are seeing this in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia right now. But it happened in French & American revolutions. People can find back predators of the human kind.

  • That is what we are going to end up like in a few years. Edith get the gun. Time to go get dinner.

  • what i like about the video is that when the buffalo save the calf the do not needlessly trample the lions( which would have been easy 4 them), which supports your point, animals kill 4 a reason, and these buffalo went in it with a goal and that was to save one of there kind, and they after that they let the lions live.

  • Great Message! The buffalo did not just leave their young.

They regrouped in numbers and than came back.

  • In the end of this year i'll go to South Africa doing volunteer work and I'll surely see that with different eyes because of your words. Thank you very much!! Your video is awesome and I love it!

    Ps: sorry my poor english
